Okay we signed the lease, got the keys, moved everything out of the Penske and did a late night/early morning drop off of that damn annoying truck all by 1:05 am this morning. Here's the kicker, we started all of this around 6pm.
Now we offically have an horrifically jammed packed "OMFG what the hell is in all these boxes?!?!" apartment. Yay. Here's to the next month of unpacking an organizing. But hey, at least we HAVE the apartment. I was panicing like crazy last Tuesday when we arrived. Not back for a couple to get an apartment within a week of their arrival and have it unloaded and moved in. Now we just need furniture and I think Ikea is the best solution at this point(give me shivers and makes me thing about Fight Club when I hear the word "Ikea"). Ikea even beats Target in price value and selection. So that is next on our list.
But a bit before that is the job thing and its going good enough for me that I have an interview with The Scripps Research Institute on Wednesday afternoon. And I applied for the position on Friday morning and I just got the call to come in on today. Now I have to find my printer, find my interview clothes, find my smart but sensible interview shoes and clean myself up a bit. I look like a mess honestly. Now where the hell is my make-up...
Okay time to clean up and head to bed. Long day tomorrow.
