Yesterday after a long of chaotic work followed by a load of run-a-round chores as a chaser, I decided to take the scenic route home, down Sunset Drive all the way to Coral Gables and through the little shady streets of the million dollar homes. While on the drive I hit the five o'clock 93 Rock Double Shot on the radio. Its the only rock station in Miami and at five they play two songs back to back from a rock band of the current flavor. Apparently on that day the flavor is Nine Inch Nails, to promote their concert in the Global Gathering festival. So they played NIN but not new NIN but Old Skool NIN: Down In It and Terrible Lie. I groaned through Down In It but was screaming off the top of my lungs with Terrible Lie.
The combination of the scenic route and Terrible Lie that just really made the drive home really nice and relaxing. Yes, relaxing. I guess the screaming really help me let off steam from the hectic work day and such.
It was a great first and interesting enough, it just coincidentally happened with no effort on my end.
