Apparently I really can't get fired...

"Listen I told this to your counterpart, and I am going to tell you the same... I do not have time to deal with other people's mistakes. I've done what I can and if doesn't help, then call someone else who cares. Good day."

*click*

That was me a few weeks ago, hanging up on the dean of one of the colleges here where I work. He called me to try to get me to give him some information cause one of his professors didn't do what he need to get something approved so that he can get this all important grant money from the government. I had that dean calling me, I had the professor calling me, I had the dean of my department calling me... fuck I had nearly everyone fucking calling me because this one fool didn't do his work and expect others to come up with a solution for his problems.

So I had to try to be nice and bend over backwards to try to accommidate this guy which I did. All fucking day I was working to find this guys some solutions to his fucking fuckups. Well as some point I really had enough and I layed it out to every since person that was involved that kept calling me. I said what I quoted above to every one who called me after that point.

It's been a few weeks since that has happened and yesterday I heard something interesting in regards to how people responded to me. Apparently they now feel that I am really not to be messed with or think that I could be pushed around to get what they want. Even that dean that I hung up asked my boss "Where did you find her? She really is a fierce dictator of that facility."

You would think that after hanging up on so many people I would start getting hints me me getting fired. Nope. Instead I get a little bit more respect.

Not bad really.
