It has been nearly a year and since my last post was about gw-en.com, I might as well as start there. Yes, I am still an on air host there and have since been promoted to Station Assistant Manager. Quite proud of that really. I love the organization, what it stands for and what it does. I am sooo glad I applied a year ago. It really has turned out to be one of the best things that has ever happened to me. It has made me see thing differently on what it means to be part of a gamer's culture as well as what it really means to be part of a gaming community. And now with the stations next charity event, Pink Day in LA, coming up next in a month, I am super excited!
I am still gaming like a rabid animals. Within the last year I have repicked up City of Heroe/Villians and even dipped back into Aion. I picked up some new ones like Rift (didn't stay long on that), DC Universe Online (meh), Star Trek Online (got a free copy of the game and 60 days game time), and League of Legends (still not sure about this PvP thing).
Along with gaming and working ridiculous hours, I am still managing to read 4 books at a time. Trying to read 100 books by the end of the year. As of right now I have read 65 books. Let's see how that goes.
Was working on costumes for most of the first half of the year, mostly for other people. Made one for myself and it turned out awesome. More on that later. Also made special pieces for the radio station and that turn out really awesome as well. More on that later as well.
Now that I have rediscovered my blog, maybe I will take the time to update it.
Or maybe it will sit here and collect dust for another year and have no one read it.
