As I said in my previous post, I applied to be a DJ for an online radio station named Gaming World Entertainment Network. It's a radio station dedicate to the players of a MMO named Guild Wars and its related gaming community. The station's mission is to promote positive in-game interaction while promoting the game itself and on occasion raising money for charities such as The Canadian Cancer Society and the Red Cross.
And shortly after my interview last Sunday I was hired.
My first show is coming up this weekend, on Halloween weekend out of all the times to start. My show is from 7am to 10am PST and its called Necromance with Lady Gallo (yes that is my in-game name). So even if you are not a playing on Guild Wars, tune in and let me know what you think.
