So I go one ebay to see of by chance they have any clothing for the 38 inch doll and lo and hehold I hit the motherload:

Vinyl Knee High BOOTS! The boots cost the same amount as an actual set of human shoes! That just blew me away.
And when you do an eBay search for "my size Barbie" the most incrediable shit comes up. There are people out there who design, make and sell custome clothes, accessories, actual LINGERIE (with garters, panties, and bras) and shoes. I nearly fell over in how much there was a market for this stuff. And people actually bid for a custom dress that is going for $35! For their freaking doll!!
I am going to be so proud when I make my own clothes for this doll's transformation.
But I am half tempted to get the knee-high boots. I know that is something I can not make. I did get the stocking for her, but at $3 a pair.
This is really going to be a fun and interesting project.
