Spent most of today at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens taking in the scenery and doing a photoshoot with my Nossie. Was able to do mostly manual color photos and they came out okay. Nothing I would consider sticking in a portfolio though but some are good enough to be given away as nice framed photo gifts. I would have to go back there again and work on another shoot more. I used the wrong exposure of film and it came out way to grainy for my liking.
Haven't looked at the digital set and probably won't get to that till mid-week. Hopefully some of those came out better than the manual ones.
Taking all these photos today made me want to go out and get a digital SLR. Grrr.... Too bad they are sooo fucking expensive. Got to do more research and find one that I can afford. There has to be one.
Sometime last week, I updated my site with a new photoworks collection. It's not much but it was from a collection of photos I had shot shortly after Katrina till last week. Those are the only one that I thought were "show quality".
