Four words: I FUCKING KNEW IT!!!!
When I finished reading The Half-Blood Prince, I wrote somewhere on a HP message board that I theorized that Severus Snape was in fact a double agent and secretly a good character, he was secretly in love with Lily Evans (aka Lily Potter, Harry's mother) and was doing everything that he did in the name of his love. Needless to say I got seriously shouted down for that. Hard.
God damn if I could only find that posting I would sooo fucking post a link here.
I must say I applaud Rowling for boldly crafting that aspect of Snape into the storyline. All this time building the antagonistic feel to him, giving him the vileness that pervaded through the whole book till this wonderful nugget of light at the end.
And let me tell you when the book revealed it all, I cried a little. I cried at how beautifully written it was and how fucking right I WAS! It just made me love the character even more. Evil with a heart. Gotta fucking LOVE that. Chapter 33 will be forever my favorite chapter in this whole entire series.
But I gotta say, all the deaths in the end chapters seriously sucked. Ugh, that's another crying fest.
I just can't get over how awesome this book is as a final chapter in the HP saga. The finish was satisfying; it leaves you content with the story as a whole but a little sad at the same time. Well done, JK Rowling.
But I have to admit, I am going to miss the anticipation that I always get for a new book.

I WAS RIGHT TOO! I didn't catch on to the Snape/Lily bit, but I figured Snape was acting under Dumbledore's instructions. I also knew RAB was Sirius' brother. And that Harry was a horcrux. ;)
