This weekend that is.
On the wedding front, this weeked we did a TON of things. First we reserved the tux for the Groomsman and Best Man as well as the Runner of the Bride (lol inside GuildWars joke). Hopefully the guys will get themselves fitted ASAP. My wedding dress has finally arrived and now I need to meet with a seamstress to do the modifications that I wanted. We also met with a florist that is giving us a bid quote for flowers and so far it looking like its going to cost a lot. Never thought purchasing flower could be sooo expensive.We also went to several places and looked on several sites to locate a baker for our wedding cake. And so far only one looks affordable enough to go with. The others were either too expensive and one in particular said that they did not deliver on Sundays. Way to loose business.
Now since we have changed the location of the reception, we also are now free to choose who ever we wish to cater our reception. Today we went to Cosco (with the idea originally from Jean) to price all of our alcohol, drinks, supplies and appetizers. Then we went to a particular chinese restuarant to have dinner to see if we like the food and if the prices are affordable to cater. We will be hitting up about two more restuarants before we decide on a caterer. And finally we found a really great place to buy decorations for the wedding and reception but unfortunately the store was closed. But from the window we found a few things that we could get to use. We will hit that place next weekend.
Why do I get the feeling that I am still missing out a ton of stuff?
That's pretty much it on the wedding front.
Oh, yes... something else. Apparently I know a few people that are kind of pissed that they moved Battlestar Galatica to Sundays at 10pm. Guess what folks? Thanks to our satalite, we can watch it at 7pm our time. That's right, no need to stay up late. So, how does BG Sundays sound to you guys at our place?
And starting Monday, no more flex hours at work. I now have to work a full day on fridays thanks to the company's continual insistance on loading the facility with new projects but refusing to hire one new person. Here's to me being continually exhusted! Yay.

You know... I've heard so often that people plan and plan and plan for their weddings and it just seems like chaos cupcakes all over the place, but then suddenly you're both at the altar and it's magic happy glee. I think it will be like that for you guys. ::hug::
