I'm back from outer space... Part I

Well, not really. It just seem liked it was considering how DIFFERENT Ohio is. I have experienced so much that I don't think I can blog it all in one sitting, if even at all. I think I am gonna let The Mister do that one. But here are some bits that I can blog that I can remember and have the ability to express it in a 1,000 words or less.

Grab a cup of coffee and here I go:

  1. Family: I finally met family from both sides of the lines. Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Chris and Cousin Serena were the first set we meet and Uncle Paul and his wife and kids were the second set. And let me tell you, none of them can't be any more different on the family bar. But they had one thing in comon, all of them were the most gracious and loving people I have ever met. Meeting both sets of family has given me a new and interesting perspection on the whole concept of family and the associated bonds.
  2. Sights: In the two days that we were there I was taken to just about every family related property, past and present, as well as jaunt through Felixx's memory lane. Some great, some very moving some just down right fun and awesome. One of the best ones is Felixx's Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Chris' authentic self built log home. The whole house was build from logs that were from Arkansas including the horse stable. The house is surrounded by tall trees and horse trails.
  3. Americana: Those who know me well know how much I love collecting Americana. Well what is more Americana that a Bob's Big Boy resturant! Well I ate at one for the first time. The food was nothing to rave about but The Big Boy statue outside was. I even bought a miniture Big Boy bank to take home with me. So fucking cute! Now I just need that Buddy Lee doll from the jeans commercial...
  4. Football: Okay, I have a confession to make. I like football and I know a great deal of trival and facts about american football. And as such, Felixx and I made a visit to the Pro-Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH. We were only suppose to spend an hour there considering we were going to drive home that day but we ended up being there for about two and a half hours. It was amazing! In relation to number 3, what is more Americana than football? Maybe apple pie a la mode with vanilla ice cream but football takes it.
  5. Interesting Bits of Info: Did you know that there is a city called Bland in Virgina? Did you know that there is place in Ohio that you can buy a 4 bedroom home with a 2 acre lot for less than 200k? Did you know that the distance from driving Miami to Ohio and back is just about nearly the same as driving from Miami to San Diego one way?
Felixx is editing and uploading the photos now. And he will be spending the next few days editing the video footage into a dvd.

And after I get some sleep and go back to work tomorrow, I will make a part two update. But for now I have to pick up someone and then play some Guild Wars.

Oh speaking of Guild Wars, GUILD WARS: NIGHTFALL IS FUCKING OFFICIAL. Click here for small peek of the new chapter three with the announcement of two new professions!! If you don't even have the first installment of Guild Wars, why aren't you going out to Best Buy and getting a copy right now? And please, spear me the "but my computer won't run that kind of game". That is no excuse.
