This morning as I am checking my email and attempting to write up something on Word, the hard drive on my work PC starts making funny noises (and in my head I am like "Oh god no, not now please"). And the noises don't stop. So I decided to turn the computer off and when I attempt to turn it back on, I get nothing. I get black screen that tells me it can't find the primary drive.
The hard drive crashed. Ugh!
I really, really didn't need this to happen 7 days before I leave my position at my beloved facility. I did back up some of it to a network drive but all the stuff I have been working for the last 6 months is fucking gone ( for now). And the more recent stuff that I didn't back up I am afraid is gone. Double ugh! All the procedures that I just wrote... *smacks forehead*
Now I am trying to find a way to recover as much of the files as possible.
How the hell am I suppose to finish the rest of my work in the next seven days with no fucking computer??
Triple Ugh with a side of Ack topped with a FUCKING HELL!!!
