It all started with a stuffy head out of nowhere. BAM! It hit me on a Thursday morning when I woke up. The next thing I know I start developing a fever. Then the ever dreaded green mucus comes out of nose. The Green Goblin lives in my nose at this point.
Oh no. Not again.
But yeah, again.
The fever lasts for 3 days, goes away and ushers in a cough. Its started as a small cough and develops into violent raging fits of hacking. Its so strong that my abs feel like I did 1,000 sit ups every day. And it fucking hurts everything.
And the green mucus is still there, mocking me.
I caved. I just could not take it anymore. Not having medical insurance sucks ass but I had to go see a doctor (And between Felixx and Tom insisting night and day that I go, I really can't ignore their pleas). The coughing was just really getting out of hand.
So $120 dollars later, I walk out of the doctors office with two sore ass cheeks (250mg shot of antibiotics and 250mg shot of a steriod based anti-inflammatory), a whole supply of antibiotics, cough medicine, and two allergy medication. All this for not only a sinus infection but apparently strep throat as well. But the office visit wasn't bad price to pay. And the Nurse Practioner was very comforting and kinda cute (who Felixx thought was gay according to his Gaydar).
I can breath decently now and the Green Goblin is slowly dying. I am still coughing but I am not hacking up a lung. But the antibiotic is making me feel all disgusting in different ways. And I have eat a lot of yogurt for the next month thanks to it.
If it gets rid of the illness, it worth it.
